Day 16 was a “weather alert” day here in coastal South Carolina. Very nasty storm was moving up the east coast bringing freezing rain and snow along with it. Fortunately it was just lots of rain at my home in Murrells Inlet.

Still it was not a good day to go out photographing anything. Yet I needed to find a subject for Day 16 of this Project 365. I collect world currency. I find that many countries have some fantastic artwork on their money. I pulled out this 1,000 Colones note from Costa Rica. Issued by the Banco Central De Costa Rica it is dated 2019 but was issued last year in 2021.

Maybe some of my other banknotes will find their way into this project as we progress along.
