One of my favorite photos. Shot this in April 2016 while Liz and I were on a cruise on the Celebrity Solstice and visiting the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We were on an excursion on a smaller boat, exploring some of the Bay and one of the boat hands had just told me that we would probably encounter some dolphins. He must have been a “dolphin whisperer” because as soon as he said it these two popped up right alongside the boat. I was able to get several shots of them, as well as some others, but this is my favorite.
