In the spring of 2016, Liz’s daughter Sue and her husband Duane and son Justice, moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, just about 10 miles north of us. They had always liked hearing about our cruises but had never had a chance to go themselves. They had some time after moving in before they started new jobs so we took them on a short cruise. At that time the Carnival Ecstacy was homeported in Charleston, SC, less than 2 hours south of us and ran a 4-night cruise to Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas. A great cruise for first-timers.
